Welcome To The Selling Lounge!
We are a friendly forum where sellers help sellers to help our/your online E-Commerce Business grow by having a place of resources and support along with help in promoting ourselves and each other.
I have been selling on line since 2003 in which I started out with eBay where I was doing very well as a Powerseller until all the fee hikes and changes. I then opened up my first Website almost 2 years ago and have been a member of a few very nice informative E-Commerce Forums and have learned so much about this new world of online selling that I wanted to have all my information in one place to help me succeed and by doing that helping others at the same time.
I have noticed that there is a ton of information out there on the net to help us become successful business owners and there are certain things that we must do in order to get our products out there and noticed and to get the buyers to us.
So I'm hoping that we can all share with each other "our tips" of "what works" and "what does not work".

Best Site For March Contest - Vote For Your Best Site
Best Site Contest
I am going to try and have a Best Site Contest from time to time and would love if everyone could participate in this fun activity.
This not only gets visitors to your sites, but also get visitors looking at what you have for sale.
I have 5 Sites here from our members and I would love for you to pick the one that you think is the best. The Winner will get their banner placed in the sidebar of the forum for ONE (1) Month starting March 1st.
You may want to ask yourself the following:
1. Does the site give it's visitor enough information about his/her site?
2. Does the site have a navigation system to make it easy to navigate each page?
3. Does the site distract the visitor with blinking text, scrolling text, animations or unnecessary sound files?
4. Does the site have image backgrounds that load too slow or take your eye away from the products?
5. Does the site have easy to read font?
6. Does the site have any spelling errors?
7. Does the site look pleasant and is easy on the eyes?
8. Does the site have enough information about the products for sale?
9. Does the site have an easy shopping cart/checkout system?
Here are the sites that I have picked out for this up coming month.
